UFV is a recipient of a 2020 BCcampus Open Education Foundation Grant. The purpose of this grant is to assist an institution that is launching, or relaunching, an open education initiative and that requires resources to maximize the impact of this effort.
The BCcampus funds have been matched by the Office of the Provost and VP Academic, providing a total of $32,250 that will fund an Open Education Fellows program collaboratively developed and administered by the Library and Teaching & Learning.
This program will support the development of three faculty open education projects, with a student assistant paired with each project. More program details, including information on the internal application process, will be announced in September.
