Want to get involved in governance at UFV?
Senate’s standing committees still have student positions available for the upcoming 2020-21 year. Senate is the academic governing body at UFV responsible for managing policies concerning academic matters, and advising the Board on policies of mutual interest. These standing committees carry out the business of Senate.
Graduate Studies Committee — 2 graduate student positions
Indigenization Committee of Senate — 1 self-identified Aboriginal student position
These are two-year terms, from August 1, 2020 to July 31, 2022. To learn more about the committees, and to volunteer, please visit: ufv.ca/secretariat/get-involved/standing-committee-vacancies/. Positions are being filled as applications are received, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
