Requesting for new software in computer labs? Information required

We are preparing to complete the deployment of Windows 10 to all PC-based student computer labs by the end of the 2019 Summer semester. Faculty using existing software or planning to request new software in the student computer labs will need to provide this information to us as outlined below.

For any new software requests, please fill out the Software Request Form (https://itservicedesk.ufv.ca/ehd/kb/kbView.glml?kbId=143) and email it to computerlabs@ufv.ca by Fri, May 31. We will need to ensure the software is compliant with Windows 10 while testing integration with the overall lab software collection.

IT Services is leading a project that will see all centrally managed desktop computers upgraded to the Windows 10 operating system in 2019. This includes all employee, student lab, and classroom-based computers. This version of Windows will bring enhanced productivity tools and improved security measures aimed at keeping data safe and secure.
