The CFO & VP Administration division held its second annual holiday food drive from Nov 15 to Nov 30. New this year, all donations were made to the UFV-SUS Food Bank, with the donations going to UFV students in need. The friendly competition – in which the administrator of the department with the least amount of donations is obliged to wear an elf hat for a day – was expanded from that of Financial Services, ITS, and Campus Planning & Facilities Management to include “the others” group made up of Risk & Safety, Legal Counsel, Supply Chain, and the office of the CFO & VP Administration.
This proved to be a successful event with a wide variety of more than 2,100 non-perishable food items and hygienic goods donated.
