Do you need a dental X-Ray? Is it that time of the year for fluoride treatment or teeth polishing? Don’t have extended medical coverage? Take part in UFV’s spring dental clinic.
UFV’s Dental Clinic offers preventive dental care to clients. Our Certified Dental Assistant students provide high quality, professional, preventive care at low cost. Our large, modern clinic is equipped with the most current equipment and technology.
Open annually in May, Certified Dental Assistant preventive clinic offers affordable preventive services to children and young adults. Care is provided by Certified Dental Assistant students under the supervision of qualified faculty who are trained and certified in the field. Preventive care appointments are 2 to 2.5 hours in length and are generally held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in May.
Services offered include X-rays, fluoride application, sealants, selective polishing of teeth, and oral hygiene instruction.
The fee for all services is 10 dollars, and the only catch it patients need to be screened by a dentist first; prescribed treatment must be completed within 60 days of initial dentist screening. The completed Screening Form is then brought to your UFV Dental Clinic appointment. Clients must also be calculus tartar free (received scaling by a dentist or dental hygienist) prior to appointments at UFV.

The UFV Dental Clinic is located at Chilliwack campus in Building A, room 2204.
Screening forms can be printed off our website and taken to your dentist, and forms are also available at the Health Sciences Reception desk on the second floor of UFV Chilliwack campus.

Records are used for teaching purposes and become the property of the University of the Fraser Valley.
All X-rays and a copy of your treatment record will be sent to your dentist.
