Students from the Faculty of Health Sciences are teaming up with UBC Med students and Chilliwack Division of Family Practice to offer free medical info sessions in Chilliwack. The event will include Q&As, lectures, and health resource displays. Mini Med School offers the community a chance to hear from and chat with local doctors and other health professionals on key medical topics.
Dates and topics:
- March 6 — Navigating our Healthcare System
- March 13 — The Pillars of Pain Management
- March 20 — An Ounce of Prevention
- March 27 — Outdoor Medicine
No registration required. Everyone is welcome. Resource Fair starts before the talks at 6:30 pm. Mini Med sessions will run from 7 to 9 pm. There will be door prizes, and refreshments.
