UFV surpasses $25K United Way campaign goal!

Thank you so much to all supporters of UFV’s United Way campaign. Through your tremendous generosity, we have now raised $26,491, surpassing our $25K goal!

Our sincere congratulations to UFV’s Finance team on winning the United Way challenge. Finance has the highest number of donors to this year’s campaign, and will be honored by a $1000 student award, given in their department’s name, to a much deserving Finance student.

We are absolutely delighted that 43 UFV members give to the United Way, 16 of whom are new donors this year. We both give personally, too. And although UFV’s goal has been reached, it’s not too late to join us! You can choose to give once, or sign up for payroll donations, at any time during the year. If you wish to join this worthy cause, please complete the fillable pledge form‌.

Each year 1 in 3 people in the Fraser Valley benefit from a United Way program. The United Way aims to build strong communities, help kids be all they can be, and move people from poverty to possibility.

United Way of the Fraser Valley supports more than 25 community partners and programs from Aldergrove to Boston Bar, serving a population of 250,000. The dollars raised here stay here, in our community.

This year marks the 33rd  year of staff and faculty proudly supporting the United Way. Thank you for making it a great one.
