Did you know that one computer left on at night for a year costs $64 in electricity? Help reduce costs by shutting off your computer when it’s not in use.
Starting on Nov 17, the Centre for Sustainability will be running a campaign called Computers Need Sleep Too! to encourage staff and students to shut off their computers when not in use.
Keep an eye out for the Centre for Sustainability members who may be handing out some sweet prizes for those who are letting their computers have some well-deserved rest.
