New Director of Facilities — Mark Goudsblom

Mark Goudsblom is joining UFV in the position of Director of Facilities. With many years of experience in the health care sector, Mark’s most recent post was the Site Director for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital, where he oversaw building management for the entire hospital. In addition to his facilities leadership in managing buildings and services within complex environments, he has experience in leading renovation projects, environmental & emergency management, and space planning. Mark also led the intricate relocation project in 2008 when the new hospital was built and relocated from the old site.

Mark has a Master of Health Studies and Leadership from Athabasca University.

“Alan Stokes has retired from his role as Facilities Director and I would like to acknowledge his 39 years of dedicated service to UFV and wish him well in retirement.
