It’s not every day you turn 40!
UFV celebrated 40 years by hosting Premier Christy Clark as she officially opened the new Agriculture Centre of Excellence on the Chilliwack campus, holding afternoon cake celebrations at the Abbotsford campus in Alumni Hall and in the new ACE in Chilliwack (tours included), and co-presenting The Sky is Not the Limit, a presentation by Commander Chris Hadfield, former Commander of the International Space Station, Canadian astronaut, author, musician and folk hero in North Vancouver. Earlier in the week, UFV hosted cake celebrations at the Mission campus and Hope centre. See the links for photos of this busy few days.
