Some sad news: Lenard Greer, the first instructor in the automotive program at UFV back when it was Fraser Valley College, has passed away at the age of 93. He started at the college in 1978.
Len is survived by his daughter, Susan, son, Bill, and grandson, Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce in 2004. Lenard had a keen interest in automotive, and played fiddle and violin throughout his life, continuing through his retirement. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. Interment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
