A new reality. Virtually visit the new Building K

Building K features active learning spaces, pod classrooms, and new furniture and design.

Curious about what’s happening in UFV’s newest building? You can grab a virtual reality sneak peek of the inside of the completely renovated Building K (the old Finnegan’s) on Wednesday Sept. 11.

Stop by the library rotunda in Abbotsford, throw on a pair of Virtual Reality (VR) goggles and get a 3-D tour of the hallways, active learning spaces, pod classrooms, and new offices in Building K. This space is a key component in the Abbotsford Campus Building Renewal Project and will temporarily house relocated classrooms and offices of faculty and staff once the reno is complete.

When and Where:

Wednesday, Sept 11
Building G Library Rotunda (Abbotsford)

The project design team DIRTT – Doing It Right This Time – will be set up in the library rotunda (Building G) on the Abbotsford campus with pizza if you stop by for the VR tour or to learn more about the entire UFV Building Renewal Project.

This project will bring substantial improvements and upgrades to Building A-East.

Tree removal and site preparation around buildings A and D has taken place and more preparation to the east side of Building A will continue over the next two weeks. Work begins on Building A-East in mid-September with expected completion by Fall 2020.
