Love to teach? Love to read? Here’s your opportunity to do both with others like you!
The TLC Book Buzz is similar to a book of the month club, only you read only one book per semester. We’ll meet once per month to discuss various chapters and share stories about teaching. Fridays will be our meeting day and as a group we can decide on the time. Depending on the makeup of the group, the location of the meeting may alternate between Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
It is free to join and Teaching and Learning will purchase the book for each member. This semester, Fall 2015, we will be reading Creating Significant Learning Experiences: An Integrated approach to Designing College Courses by L. Dee Fink.
This group is limited to 10 people and the expectation is that you can meet with us on the last Friday of each month (excluding Dec). Any faculty or staff member is welcome to join.
