Dave Harder to speak about “Mind, Money, & Markets”

The School of Business proudly invites you to attend the next Research Seminar presented by Dave Harder. Dave will be discussing his new book, Mind, Money & Markets on February 3, 2017 from 12:30-2:00 PM in room C 1422.

If you are interested in attending this event, please RSVP to bizevents@ufv.ca by Friday, January 23, 2017.

Dave Harder is one of the few experts in North America who forecast the decline of oil prices and the Alberta economy, which has turned out to be the most significant economic event of the last five years.

More recently, he forecast rising interest rates, the election of Donald Trump and the positive impact this would have on economic growth. He simplifies topics that seem complicated and talks about personal experiences that engage people.

Dave is co-author of the book, Mind, Money & Markets, together with U.S. psychiatrist, Dr. Janice Dorn. The book explains how history, cycles and patterns of human behavior can be the best guide for what should happen in the future.

Robert McTamaney, Former Partner and Head of Trading for Goldman Sachs, Asia, said: “I consider this book

required reading for those interested in both capital preservation and profitable investing.”

Dave is Vice President and Portfolio Manager with more than 30 years of experience serving investors with RBC Dominion Securities in Abbotsford. He is a Swiftwater Rescue Technician with the Kent Harrison Search and Rescue Team and has completed marathons and Ironman Triathlons. You will not want to miss this presentation if what happens in the economy impacts you or your business.

The presentation will be followed by a Q+A session. Click here for more information on this seminar and future seminars offered by the School of Business.
