Power has been restored at the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses.
In-person classes and learning activities scheduled to begin at 2 pm or later today will proceed as scheduled. The earlier cancellation of classes and activities scheduled to begin before 2 pm remains in effect.
If your online class was interrupted by the outage, please check with your instructor for further direction.
Employees impacted by the outage should contact their supervisor for next steps and to confirm work arrangements for the remainder of the day.

The Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses are experiencing a power outage that began at approximately 12:15 pm today, Monday, Oct. 5.
In-person classes and learning activities scheduled to begin before 2 pm today at the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses are cancelled.
- Mission, Hope and Clearbrook campuses are not affected.
Employees in affected areas: Please let your supervisor know if the outage is affecting your ability to work and discuss appropriate work arrangements for this afternoon.
Next update: A follow-up message will be shared on or before 2 pm today, including information about classes and activities scheduled to begin at 2 pm or later.
