UFV campuses closed Wed, Jan 17

Due to severe winter weather and hazardous road conditions, all UFV campuses are closed to students and employees, except designated winter services personnel.

Students: In-person classes are cancelled. Instructors will contact you regarding the delivery of scheduled course material.

Remote work: Faculty, staff, and administrators will work online where possible today and should contact their supervisors regarding working remotely.

All activities are cancelled for the day and evening of Wed, Jan. 17.

Most student services and Registrar services are available online.

  1. It would be nice to have These Warnings ahead of time that way you don’t have to wait till the last minute to see if the school was closed. Since I come from Mission I have to get up earlier and get ready so when the warnings come at 7:00 it’s kind of too late for me to to make it on time for instance BCIT had their warnings it really early in the morning which meant you could take your time and sleep in

    • Hi, Juan. UFV’s Severe Weather team meets early each morning to make a decision based on the most current conditions. We will have campus updates available by 6:30am at UFV.ca. If you’re concerned about class the next day, please reach out to your instructor to discuss alternate learning opportunities.
