A reminder that several payment options are available for employee parking.
- Register and pay for their annual parking permit through the convenience of payroll deduction. Most employees using this service have already registered. Find out if you’re registered for payroll deductions by checking your most recent paystub (under ‘Deductions after Federal Tax’) through myUFV.
- Register for a monthly digital permit is available: https://www.ufv.ca/parking/employees/.
- Pay for parking on a daily basis
Annual and monthly options:
Type A & B permanent employees have the option to register and pay for their annual parking permit through the convenience of payroll deduction. Most employees using this service have already registered.
- Find out if you’re registered for payroll deductions by checking your most recent paystub (under ‘Deductions after Federal Tax’) through myUFV.
- Employees looking to sign up for payroll deduction parking can login to myUFV, click ‘Employee Information’ then click ‘Parking Pass Application’.
Reminder: Thanks to licence plate recognition technology, hanging passes are no longer required.
Daily Parking
For employees who are on campus periodically and do not need monthly or yearly passes, daily parking is available. Payment options for daily parking are:
- Through the daily link on the Parking website: https://www.ufv.ca/parking/employees/
*Please note this is the only the daily option that allows in/out privileges, thanks to licence plate recognition technology.
- Pay through the PaybyPhone app: https://ufv.ca/parking/pay/paybyphone/
- Pay at parking meters.

- Please take note that Revenue Canada stipulates that employer paid or subsidized parking is a taxable benefit. For this reason, UFV structures its rate options based on market rates which are then applied to the three parking options (Annual, Monthly, Daily).
