The Humanitarian Face in War

To mark the International Development Week in Canada, the Global Development Studies department partnered with UFV’s Centre for Justice, Equity and Sustainable Action (JESA), BCCIC and Global Affairs Canada to present this hybrid event featuring speakers from humanitarian organizations responding to conflicts in war-torn regions worldwide.

Highlighting speakers from Canada and other parts of the world, this event inspired and educated attendees about the critical importance of addressing conflicts and supporting humanitarian efforts. Additionally, it showcased the multiple career paths within global development and global affairs, providing insights into the diverse opportunities available for those interested in making a positive impact on a large scale.
