Looking to build practical skills for community-based research and social justice? SJGS 395: Participatory Methodologies for Social Justice equips students with the tools to work collaboratively with communities to create meaningful social change.

This new required course for the GDS degree and GDS minor explores participatory approaches to action research, inquiry, advocacy, and policy impact. Students will develop skills for equitable community partnerships while fulfilling the BA Career Integration core competency requirement.
