What do I need to know?
ITS will be adding a security upgrade to myFiles (Fileway) on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, myFiles will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade window. Once the security upgrade is complete, users accessing myFiles while not connected to Eduroam will be prompted to log in using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
When will this occur?
Thursday August 28th, 2025, 7:30 AM – 12:00PM.
Who is impacted?
• UFV employees and students using myFiles (Fileway) during the upgrade window.
• UFV employees and students accessing myFiles (Fileway) outside of Eduroam will receive an MFA prompt before logging in.
