Intermittent IT disruptions will occur this evening as IT Services is required to complete maintenance to address security vulnerabilities, this will result in a 3-hour outage beginning at 10:00pm. This outage will impact network and telephone services on all UFV campuses.
When will this occur?
Monday, October 30th, beginning at 10:00pm for up to 3 hours.
Who is impacted?
All employees and students on campus using wired, wireless or telephone services. This outage will also impact those attempting to connect remotely to a device on campus.
Service Impacted:
- Telephone service – Including red emergency phones. Call Security at 1-855-239-7654
- Wired network connections
- Wireless access
- Remote desktop connection
- Security Devices (trilogy gateways/locks)
- Facilities Systems/Panels
- Banner, FAST, myUFV, and the UFV Website
