What do I need to know?
Due to Blackboard storage limits, the process of archiving courses associated with 2020 term dates will begin on April 15, 2023. The following terms will be moved into archive from your Blackboard Faculty course lists on the dates listed.
April 15, 2023: 202000, 202001
June 30, 2023: 202004, 202005
September 29, 2023: 202007, 202008, 202009
Who is impacted?
Faculty with courses from 2020 in their Blackboard Faculty course list.
What do I need to do?
If faculty want to keep or restore a copy of a course from any of these terms, there are three options:
- Submit a Development Shell Request to create a new copy of the course content that will appear on your course list.
- Save a copy of the course on your computer or UFV OneDrive. Faculty tutorials are available to help with exporting, archiving, and importing a course.
- Submit a Course Restore/Recovery Request to restore a course from UFV archive at any time.
