Nursing students on the fast-track celebrate graduation

Getting on the fast-track means that Nursing students in the (BSN) program can finish their degree in just three years.

As part of the graduation celebration, three awards were handed out to recognize professional, academic and outstanding achievements.

The Association of Registered Nurses of BC (ARNBC) presents an award to the student exemplifying professionalism in nursing. At the event was Joy Peacock, Executive Director of ARNBC, who presented the award to Jodi Allan.

The Academic Achievement Award is presented to the student who has the highest GPA in nursing and health science courses throughout the nursing program. The award recipient was Brett Klassen.

The Outstanding Achievement is an award presented to a student who meets the following criteria:  GPA of at least 3.5 (in nursing and health science courses); demonstrated leadership skills and consistent clinical performance throughout the nursing program. The award recipient was Korey Sutherland.
