COVID-19 had more impacts on Canadian’s health than just the effects of the disease: during the early years of the pandemic, restrictions radically changed the way we socialized, learned, and engaged with medical professionals. In particular, technology enabled new, safer alternatives, but they were not a perfect solution.
The Community Health and Social Innovation (CHASI) Hub is pleased to share two separate but connected reports detailing the findings of two research projects. Both explore the use of technology for health and wellbeing during the first years of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first focuses on the experiences of post-secondary students, while the second looks at those of older adults (aged 60+).
