Challenge details

Why?

Changemaking is an inherently collaborative process, and co-creating this key piece of our communications alongside students embodies that spirit. Representing these four principles is not simple, and we felt that generic iconography did not do justice to the ideas behind them. We are looking for icons that clearly communicate the spirit and ideas that drive changemaking.

What?

A set of icons: four digital images (.PNG or .SVG) inspired by your view of the four principles of UFV Changemaking. Full submission details are below.

Who?

To be eligible to participate, you need to be currently enrolled at UFV. The submission form will require you to sign in with your student email and submit your student ID number to verify this. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to participate!

When?

The challenge begins on September 26, 2024, and will end on November 4 at 11:59 P.M. Please ensure that all submissions are sent by that time — late submissions will not be considered.

Criteria

A panel of judges from various disciplines will evaluate submissions based on their effective communication of the guiding principles and visual appeal.

Honourariums:

Two honourable mentions: $250 each

The selected student’s work will be featured on the UFV Changemaking website and future printed or digital materials as appropriate.
