UFV Fall Health Fair set for Oct. 29 to promote wellness and connection

Health Sciences students and faculty will be offering health-related information at the UFV Health Fair on October 29 at the Chilliwack campus.

(Chilliwack) October 24, 2025 — Looking for some guidance on how to stay healthy this fall?

Check out the Fall Health Fair at the University of the Fraser Valley’s Chilliwack campus on Wednesday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Students from UFV’s Nursing and Kinesiology programs will be on hand in the campus atrium to share information on various health-related topics. Representatives from UFV’s Indigenous Student Centre and Campus Recreation will also host information displays.

Visitors can enjoy free food and pet therapy while learning about seasonal affective disorder, sleep hygiene, chronic pain management, and more. Those aged 18 years and older can take advantage of the Flu Clinic to boost their immunity for cold and flu season.

“It’s an opportunity for people to see the beautiful Chilliwack campus, explore wellness resources, enjoy some pizza, and get their flu shot — all in one stop. Come learn something healthy, connect with others, and take care of yourself!” says Susan Stoneson, an associate professor and program head with UFV’s School of Health Studies.

The fair brings accessible health education to the local community, and gives students experience in public health promotion and sharing their research projects.

Whether you’re looking to improve your wellness routine, learn more about health-focused topics, test your health knowledge, or get health screenings, there’s something for everyone. Meet with students and faculty, participate in interactive activities, and get free resources to help you stay healthy.

Admission is free and the public is welcome. Click here to learn more.
