UFV Giving Days are April 4-6

On April 4, 1974,  the creation of Fraser Valley College (now UFV) was announced. FVC opened its doors that fall and we welcomed our first students, thanks to the drive, passion, and commitment of our community.

Forty-eight years later we are a fully accredited, teaching university enrolling some 16,000 students annually, with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, and a partnership with Fraser Valley India. Last year nearly 3,000 students graduated from UFV with credentials spanning more than 100 programs. We could not be prouder of our 47,000 alumni!

To celebrate Founders Day and all we have accomplished together, we are hosting UFV Giving Days from April 4-6.

Watch our live webinars and the Cascades highlights reel to learn more about UFV.

What is our goal? To establish 22 awards for 22 deserving students in 2022!

Help us ensure UFV students can achieve their academic goals by donating to the award, faculty or program you care about most, or choose more than one! Every dollar contributed will make a difference — no gift is too small. This year we are raising funds to support the following annual awards:

  • UFV Cascades Athletics Leadership Award
  • UFV College of Arts Scholarship
  • UFV Faculty of Applied and Technical Studies Scholarship
  • UFV Faculty of Education, Community and Human Development Scholarship
  • UFV Faculty of Health Sciences Scholarship
  • UFV Faculty of Professional Studies Scholarship
  • UFV Faculty of Science Scholarship.

UFV is also raising funds to support Student Affairs programming and its new International Emergency Fund to support international students affected by humanitarian crises.

We look forward to celebrating UFV Giving Days with you and reporting back on the number of students whose dreams will come true because of your generosity.
