Pro D day for staff and faculty on May 4

All UFV Faculty and Staff are invited to submit proposals for workshops as part of PD Day 2016, which will be held on May 4 on UFV’s Abbotsford campus.

The theme of PD Day 2016 is Connect/Learn/Grow:

Connect — build inter-department connections with colleagues from across UFV to
promote student success.
Learn — discover new skills and techniques for professional growth.
Grow — strengthen UFV as we move toward 2025 through connection-building and professional growth.

Workshop proposals should relate to any part of the PD Day theme and may be geared towards all UFV employees or developed with a specific group in mind.

When submitting your proposal, please consider the following:

Workshops should be 50mins in length (if a longer sessions is needed please note this on your proposal), be interactive, and if appropriate include a student co-leader.

Your proposal should include:
Title of workshop
Name of facilitator(s)
One sentence summary of workshop
Detailed workshop summary
Contact information
Proposals will be reviewed by the PD Day Organizing Committee, and confirmation will be provided to workshop facilitators by the end of March.
