If you’re a parent looking for a way to prevent the chorus of ‘I’m borrrrrrred’ in your house this coming summer, consider giving your childa week to remember at the University of the Fraser Valley.
Science Rocks!
Back by popular demand, UFV’s Science Rocks! summer day camps are designed for local students going into Grades 4-7 (as of Sept ’13). Each of the five different camps is structured to encourage the development of scientific problem-solving skills and to help campers learn fundamental scientific principles in a fun, hands-on way.
A week-long camp is $250, and includes all supplies, lunches, t-shirt, and completion certificate. There is a discount if you enroll your child in more than one week, or if you have more than camper: two camp registrations is $450; three $675; four $900; five $1,150.
2013 Science Rocks! camps:
Puzzles and mysteries! July 29–August 2, 2013 (Abbotsford)
Activities that are awesome! August 12–16, 2013 (Chilliwack)
Registration forms and additional information — as well as some great photos from last year’s camps — are available online at ufv.ca/sciencerocks . For more information or to register, please email sciencerocks@ufv.ca .
Greetings,
Are there any scholarships or reduced fees for children of single mothers?
Even though your goal is just to lose 5 pounds in a week, you should be strict with
what you do so as not to inadvertently undo all your hard work for vegetarian weight
loss. In fact, I always suggest to those overweight vegetarians to keep
to a max of 4 pounds a week so you won’t suffer loose skin post weight loss. Many people don’t have
the time to weight themselves every day, but checking the scale on a regular basis can
definitely help when you’re working to lose weight and keep it off.
I hope these tips helped you save some time and money.
However there are a couple of considerations when deciding
whether or not to add a terminal illness booster benefit when you buy life
insurance policies. After she vents a little more, ask another question
like, ‘Is there anything else about your current vendor that you’d like to improve’.
