Women’s volleyball ranked number one in CCAA for a third week

The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women’s volleyball team opens the second half of the 2012-13 PACWEST regular season ranked number one in today’s Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) top ten rankings.  This marks the third straight week the Cascades are ranked number one in Canada.

UFV sits at 11-1, two points behind 12-2 VIU Mariners, with two games at hand.  The Cascades travel to New Westminster, BC to face the Douglas College Royals, 5-9.  UFV is 2-0, this year against the Royals with a pair of victories, 3-2 and 3-0, at the EAC, before the holiday break.  The PACWEST has two teams in the top ten, VIU and the Cascades.
