Daffodil Days, the fundraising initiative of the Canadian Cancer Society, are back at UFV March 23-25. UFV student clubs will have booths around campus and will be visiting departments to sell daffodils and collect donations. The UFV Muslims club, UFV Arab Club, and the Baker House Residence Association are taking the lead on this year’s events. UFV Muslims Club president Sa’ad Akhter is excited to bring students from all over the world together towards a common value: the importance of charity. “Over 40 students have already signed up to volunteer this year,” he says. “This is our chance to help.” Student volunteers will be selling daffodils March 23-25, 2015 at various locations across the Abbotsford campus.
