UFV Abbotsford fire alarm system upgrading

As part of our continuous upgrades to improve safety on our campuses, we are upgrading the fire alarm systems at the Abbotsford campus. To do this we will have a contractor on site starting on Sunday, March 15.

The first phase of this work will take place in Building B. The contractor will be replacing existing equipment and installing new equipment.

During this project, there should be no disruption to the normal operation of the buildings. The fire alarm will still be operational and people should leave the building as normal when the fire alarm goes off.

Further upgrades will be happening in the coming months.
