TLC is offering a new micro-credential: Launch Sprint

In keeping with our motto, TLC for all, Launch Sprint is a semester-long program that is open to all faculty/instructors at any stage of their journey at UFV.

With a focus on flexibility, personalized inquiry, and building connections, the Sprint provides an opportunity to explore your practice in collaboration with colleagues.

The Sprint is built on a 3-2-1 format:
· 3 in-person intensives (9 hours)
· 2 self-paced “choose-your-own-adventure” modules on Brightspace (6 hours)
· 1 Teaching Inquiry Project (it’s up to you!)

We understand how busy you are and that the realities of teaching in higher education are shifting. With those realities in mind, we’ve designed the program to maximize collegial connections, incorporate self-paced learning, and provide a choice of topics and evidence-based resources to support your teaching goals. For your inquiry project, Launch Sprint also provides a range of options. From getting student feedback on a new activity, to observing a colleague who is using a technique or approach you’d like to try, your inquiry will reflect your priorities, values, interests, and curiosity.

Registrations are open for Winter 2027.
