María Eugenia De Luna, an associate professor of Spanish and Linguistics, has published a new book chapter titled “De la teoría a la acción digital: kits de redes sociales como evaluación crítica en la enseñanza del español” [From Theory to Digital Action: Social Media Kits as Critical Assessment in Spanish Language Teaching] in the edited volume Innovación pedagógica y transformación digital en la enseñanza de la lengua, la literatura y la cultura hispánicas [Pedagogical Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Teaching of Hispanic Language, Literature, and Culture](2025).
The chapter explores how student created social media kits can be used as creative, critical assessment tools in advanced Spanish courses, connecting sociolinguistic analysis with digital action and community focused learning. The volume brings together international scholars working at the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and Hispanic studies.
