The opening reception for ART IN PRACTICE, the School of Creative Arts faculty and staff exhibit takes place Wednesday, Sept 10, starting at 12:30 pm in the UFV Abbotsford S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery (B Build, Room B136).
All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
The exhibit will be available for viewing in the gallery from Sept. 10-29, showcasing the dynamic work of Visual Arts faculty and staff members. Spanning diverse media and approaches, the show offers a glimpse into the creative practices that shape, inspire, and mentor the next generation of artists.
ART IN PRACTICE highlights the ongoing professional practices of the Visual Arts faculty and staff across a range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and video. As artists and technicians, these individuals play a vital role in shaping UFV’s creative community, not only through teaching but through active engagement in contemporary art.
