Bee-autiful Blooms: UFV Pollinator Garden Planting Party — Sept 26

Join us on Thursday, Sept 26 on the UFV Abbotsford campus for a bloomin’ good time, and help us grow something special as we plant a brand new pollinator garden.

Whether you’re a budding gardener or have deep-rooted experience, everyone is welcome to dig in.

Discover the root of our efforts by learning about native species and why they’re so bee-loved by pollinators like butterflies, bees, and birds. You’ll leaf with plenty of knowledge about how native plants help our ecosystem thrive. Before planting, join us for a stroll through the flora as we explore other campus gardens that are already buzzing with life.

We have three time slots available:
A) 10 to 11:30 am
B) 11:30 am to 1 pm
C) 1 to 2 pm
Please note that slots A and B include a talk from the Fraser Valley Conservancy and a tour of the existing gardens on campus.

It’s going to be a plant-tastic day of digging, learning, and getting our hands dirty for a greener, buzzier future! Don’t miss this “bee-utiful” opportunity to grow with us.
