We hope you have had a good start to the 2024-25 school year. As most of you know, while we are very excited for her, we are saddened to not have the amazing Barbara Salingre with us at UFV as she has retired.
A drop-in retirement gathering is being held on Thursday, September 19 from 11 am to 2 pm in room A225 on the UFV Abbotsford campus.
We have also created a digital group card that everyone can sign. Please visit https://www.thankbox.com/app/thankbox/NhO160P9. Click on the “Add another message” button to create your own page. You can add a picture, a video, a gif, and your thoughts. There is also the option to click “private” if you want Barbara to be the only one to see your message. When you are done and satisfied, please click “post message.”
You have until October 15 to post your personal message, which Barbara will receive on October 16.
Barbara has been such a pivotal, supportive, and amazing part of the University of the Fraser Valley. She has given her time, wisdom, and heart to so many of us, and we wanted to make sure to provide a couple of different ways to send Barbara off in a good way. Please participate in one or both. We know Barbara will treasure connecting with you.
