Join students from Global Development Studies (GDS) to explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 5 – Gender Equality. The event is centered around this year’s International Women’s Day theme of “Inspire Inclusion.”
Students from GDS 100 (A World of Development) and GDS 260 (Gender and Global Development) will present work on gender equality issues and facilitate hands-on activities for participants.
Topics may include: intersectionality, gender and the environment, gender and food security, gender and education, gender and health and violence, gender and poverty and the economy, masculinities, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
