This event aims to raise awareness and foster a deeper understanding of the complexities of conflicts, the dire need for action, and the tireless efforts of humanitarian organizations.
Opening Remarks & Moderation:
Dr. Geetanjali Gill and Adetoun Illumoka provide opening remarks and moderation. Gill is Program Chair, Global Development Studies program, UFV, and Director of the Research Centre for Justice, Equity, and Sustainable Action. Illumoka is a member of the BC Council for International Cooperation Lead on Policy, Social Movements and Knowledge Exchange; Women, Peace and Security.
