The UFV Centre for Philosophy for Children (CP4C) in cooperation with the Centre for Justice, Equity, and Sustainable Action (JESA) will be hosting a celebration of World Children’s Day on Mon, Nov 20, 2023. The one-day event at UFV Abbotsford will include an interdisciplinary panel discussion with a focus on children’s rights in both local and global contexts followed by art and stories for children provided by the Mission Arts Council and the CP4C.
The panel discussion runs from 2:30 to 4 pm in room B121 featuring Dr. Geetanjali Gill, Dr. Cherie Enns, Dr. Laura “Lolehawk” Buker, Dr. Michelle Superle, and Dr. Arthur Wolf.
Activities for children of all ages are from 4 to 5 pm in room A235.
