Wednesday, March 29, 2023 @ 10 am (1 Hour)
Session will be held online via Zoom
Join TLC learning specialist Michelle Johnson and assistant professor Russell Campbell from the School of Computing as they explore the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in higher education, particularly at UFV. In this month’s Tech Talk, they will delve deeper into the use of ChatGPT and share how Team-based learning (TBL) has helped to address the issue of cheating and tp improve students’ use of this new technology as an additional learning tool. By combining TBL with ChatGPT, the community can learn collaboratively while mitigating the challenges associated with this rapidly advancing technology.
During the discussion, participants will have the opportunity to share their concerns and ideas about the technology, explore ways that educators can leverage ChatGPT to support individual students’ learning or customize it as a supportive research tool. This forum is open to anyone interested in learning more about how to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to leveraging AI for enhancing learning in post-secondary education.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join the conversation and explore the exciting possibilities of AI in education.
