What do I need to know?
New licence plate recognition technology means UFV’s hanging parking passes are no longer required.
Who is impacted?
Everyone using a hanging pass to indicate payment of parking.
What do I need to do?
If you are currently on payroll deductions, your licence plate has already been recorded, and you don’t have to do anything. Please verify that you are on payroll deductions by checking your most recent paystub (under ‘Deductions after Federal Tax’) through myUFV to avoid receiving parking tickets. Once confirmed, please recycle your old parking pass.
What if I use more than one car?
If you require the addition of a secondary plate or would like to confirm your plate(s), please submit a request to parking@ufv.ca. Please refer to the parking website to verify your eligibility for payroll deductions.
What if I don’t have a parking pass?
Daily parking options are listed on the parking website.
