Career Month: Transferable Skills from the Employer Perspective — Nov 3

Transferable Skills from the Employer Perspective

Wed, Nov 3
12–1 pm
Online Panel Discussion

Event description
Come learn from employers working in multiple sectors — public, private, and not-for-profit — as they discuss the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of transferable skills. What are the skills and experiences necessary to thrive in the workplace as we find ourselves in the post-pandemic ‘new normal’? How does one develop and hone these skills and experiences in school, at work, and in other life domains? There will be time at the end of the session for attendees to pose questions to the panelists.

Moderator
Dr. Candy Ho (UFV Assistant Professor, Integrative Career and Capstone Learning).
