We are changing how we print!
Throughout the month of June, UFV Print Services will be updating the current Multi-Function Devices (MFD) across all campuses. The new technology is energy-efficient, secure, and convenient. Our new vendor, Ricoh Canada, will have representatives on site throughout the deployment.
The new system includes secure print release, which means your print jobs are held for you until claimed at the printer. This helps eliminate accidental print jobs and ensures the privacy of your material. You will also be able to login into the MFDs with a tap of your campus card.
An outline of the deployment schedule will be sent to current users. Shortly after deployment, there will be training sessions on the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses.
Thank you for your patience and help facilitating the smooth replacement of the MFD fleet and we apologize for any inconveniences during this process.
