I-Lead Abby Youth 4 Change Photovoice Project
Exhibition April 5- 19, 2019
Opening Reception: April 5, 3-5 pm
UFV, in partnership with I-LEAD ABBY, is proud to present an exhibition by Abbotsford youth. University students worked with Abbotsford high school students from three different schools to produce a project that gives voice and image to the youth of the city. Students from Grades 8-11 shot photographs that represent important aspects of their lives, and were later interviewed by university students. Those interviews were transcribed and turned into wall-mounted quotes that accompany the images.
