The UFV Alumni commemorative wine makes a great gift for all of the above. This year’s Alumni commemorative wines are wonderfully smooth and would appeal to a wide variety of taste buds – plus they are a unique alternative to the run-of-the-mill bottle from the liquor store.
In a rich and unique tradition dating from 2005, the Alumni Association has partnered with local wineries to produce Commemorative Wine in honour of the graduating class. The wine is unveiled at a yearly spring event, and the artwork for the labels is selected through an alumni artist competition. The wine is sold throughout UFV communities as a fundraiser for the Alumni Association’s student monetary awards.
The 2017 wines offered are Chaberton Estate Winery’s 2016 Reserve Bacchus ($20) and 2014 Valley Cab ($22).
