Wanda Gordon, a longtime faculty member in the Health Sciences department who played an instrumental role in developing nursing programming at UFV, passed away Sept 18.
Wanda started at UFV as an instructor in the RN Transfer program in September 1987. This position became permanent in 1989. She became Program Head of Health Sciences in June, 1996, and Director of Health Sciences in March 16, 2002.
Wanda retired in 2006, but came back on the request of the Dean to serve as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science, Health & Human Services from January, 2007 to June 30, 2008.
