On Sat, March 18 at noon, groups of 3-5 students from at least two different disciplines will be given 24 hours to develop and propose a solution to a sustainable food system problem. The proposals will be presented to a panel of judges, ‘Dragons Den’ style at 12 noon on Sun, March 19 and the winning team will win $1,000, with $500 going to the second place team. All teams will be able to develop and prototype their project through a linked Directed Studies course or an existing related class project in the Summer or Fall semester of 2017.
