Leanne A. Joe is offering a beginner language session for greetings and territorial place names on Tuesday, June 2 from noon to 12:50 pm on the Abbotsford campus (Building G, room G124).
Do you want to learn how to introduce yourself in Halq’eméylem, practice pronouncing the names of the local First Nations, and learn some of the history of Halq’eméylem and our sister dialects?
If you are staff or faculty at UFV and said yes to one or all of these, Leanne would love to have you join one of her Halq’eméylem sharing sessions.
