Join us for an afternoon of engaging research and discussion at the seventh annual History Honours Student Conference.

Taking place on Tuesday, May 19, from 1-3 pm on the UFV Abbotsford campus (Building K, room K180), featured research topics or titles include:

Aidan Spence’s paper titled: “The Red Spectre: The Public Presence of Marxism and Socialism in British Columbian Labour, 1901–1925”
Jakob Petersen’s paper titled: “The Liminal Lives of Fools in Tudor Courts and Memory”
Danika Thomson’s paper titled: “Home, Memory, and Lesbian Community in Brooklyn, 1968–1979”
Ina Van Dijk’s paper titled: “Samuel Scheidt and the Thirty Years War”
Ryan Crawford’s research topic: The Japanese Canadian community in the city of Mission
